This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser and the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar information. This is exclusively information which does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content you have requested from websites and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
CookiesLike many other websites, we also use "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used and operating system via your computer and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to launch programs or to transmit viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our web pages. Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Registration on our websiteWhen registering to use our personalised services, some personal data is collected, such as your name, address and contact information such as telephone number and email address. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time if required. Of course, we will also provide you with information about your personal data that we have stored at any time. We will be happy to correct or delete them at your request, provided that this does not breach any legal storage obligations. To contact us regarding this, please use the contact details given at the end of this data protection policy.
Provision of chargeable servicesWe will ask for additional data for the provision of chargeable services, e.g. payment details.
SSL encodingTo protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
NewsletterWhen you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also receive email notifications about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offering or technical circumstances). For valid registration we need a valid email address. In order to verify that a registration is actually being made by the owner of an email address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose we log the order for the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the requested answer. No further data will be collected. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the newsletter dispatch at any time. In each newsletter you will find a link for that purpose. Use of scriptlibraries (Google Webfonts)In order to present our content correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. With the use of Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. You can find more information about Google's data processing in the Google-Privacy. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection centre. Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.
Social media plug-insSocial media plug-ins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognise the plug-ins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo. These plug-ins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may then be used by it. We prevent the unconscious and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plug-in, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plug-in triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves by using the social media plug-ins or about their use. We have no influence on what data an activated plug-in collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services will be established and that at least the IP address and device-related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service providers will try to save cookies on the computer used. Reference is made to the data protection information sheet of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are currently logged in to Facebook, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a specific page.
